The 2003 Rodeo has been further refined with a revised instrument panel, antitheft ignition system, and an improved automatic transmission-ratio. The 2003 Rodeo lets you pay dirt big time with its creak free body, ladder frame construction and low range transfer case on 4WD models. When you get beyond its stylish exterior you can choose between Rodeo’s 16-valve DOHC 2.2 liter 4-in-line, 130 hp, 144 lb-ft power train with 19/23 mpg and 2500 lb towing, or the upgraded 24-valve DOHC 3.2 liter V-6, 205 hp, 214-lb-ft, with 4500 lb towing 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission.
The 2003 Isuzu Rodeo continues to be offered in the S base model with 4-cyl and 6cyl engines as well as V6, LS, and LSE trim levels. Isuzu continues to and offer customized packages including Chrome Package to meet individual driver’s needs. Available on the 4WD LS are 18 inch wheels. Standard on the LSE and included in the LS Chrome Package is Isuzu’s Intelligent Suspension Control, which automatically varies shock-absorber firmness for the ride of your dreams.
