1. The intake gasket prevents the air intake branch from leaking and affects the engine work.
2. The intake and exhaust manifolds are usually made of cast iron, and the intake manifolds are also made of aluminum alloy, which can be either cast in one or separately. Both intake and exhaust manifolds are Stud-mounted on the cylinder block or cylinder head with asbestos pads on the joint surface to prevent leakage. The intake manifold is supported by carburettor and the exhaust manifold is communicated with the exhaust pipe downwards.
3. The intake manifold is directly connected to the engine cylinder head, and the temperature of the engine cylinder head can reach 130 ~150 degrees. Therefore, plastic intake manifold materials are required to withstand high temperatures of 180 degrees Celsius.
4. When the manifold is mounted on the engine, it must bear the vibration load of the automobile engine, the inertia load of the throttle and the sensor, the fluctuating load of the intake pressure, and so on, and ensure that the manifold is not exploded by the high pressure fluctuating pressure when the engine is abnormally tempered.
