• Product Description
• This is an integrated crankshaft damper pulley for light duty commercial truck engines. It adopts multi V groove layout compatible with multiple drive belts. The unit combines outer belt ring damping rubber layer and inner metal hub as one complete assembly. No extra disassembly is required for normal installation.
• Core Functions
• First it transmits rotational torque from engine crankshaft. It drives a series of engine auxiliary components such as alternator water pump and air conditioning compressor via drive belts.
• Second it absorbs and reduces torsional vibration created by engine combustion cycles. It relieves vibration stress acting on crankshaft to protect crankshaft from premature wear fatigue crack or structural fracture.
• Third it keeps stable tension and running state for drive belts. It effectively lowers risks including belt slipping offset abnormal operating noise and early belt aging failure.
• Main Materials
• Outer belt ring is manufactured from high strength cast iron. This material provides high structural rigidity and good wear resistance.
• Central inner hub is made of alloy steel. It offers high mechanical strength and strong resistance against deformation under torque load.
• Vulcanized high elasticity rubber fills the intermediate layer. This rubber material provides elastic property to absorb torsional vibration.
